Health is wealth.  If anyone is not healthy, he can’t enjoy the world. Some people don’t have control over their eating. They eat too much. So , as the result they become unhealthy. Even some people don’t eat what they need for their nutritive demand. So, we must eat what we need for our nutritive demand.

But there is a way to know the exact amount of how much food we need to eat. How much food we need to eat to be healthy.. We can know how much calories we need everyday by this process. The process is a type of calculation. The process is B.M.R (Basal  Metabolic Rate)
We all may know what calorie is ! If you don’t know what calorie is then I am giving a short description what it is.

Calorie(K) is the amount of thermal energy. We use it to calculate the thermal energy in foods. We are going to know the amount of food we need to eat by this calorie. 1000calorie = 1 kilocalorie

Now, We are going to describe the way to calculate our B.M.R.
The theory is-
B.M.R for female = 655 + {9.6xweight(kg)} + {1.8xheight(cm)} - (4.7xage)      
B.M.R for Male    =666 + {13.7x weight(kg)} + {5xheight(cm)} - (6.8xage)

Suppose, A woman is 33 years old. Her weight is 94 kg and height is 165cm.
So, her B.M.R is = 655+(9.6x94)+(1.8x165)-(4.7x33)
                            =1699.3 Calorie

Not Diligent
BMR value x 1.2
A little diligent, works 2-3 days a week
BMR value x 1.375
Diligent, works very hard 2-3 days a week
BMR value x 1.55
Diligent, works very much (whole week)
BMR value x 1.725
Excessive Diligent, works very much
BMR value x 1.9

As an example, supposing the woman is not diligent and her BMR value is 1699.3, her Calorie demand is
= (1699.3 x 1.2)
= 2039.16
Means the woman can keep her weight the same taking 2039 Calorie contained food.
BMR rate depends on age, gender, food-stuff and body formation. It also depends on our nutritive demand.
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a way to know you are healthy or not. It depends on Weight & Height. To know your BMI, There is a theory. The theory is-

BMI = Weight (kg) / Height (cm)

If a boy’s height is 125 cm (1.25 m) and weight is 50 kg then his BMI will be 32. 
But how can you know that you are healthy or not from the BMI.  There is a chart describing the rate’s meaning. The chart is given below-

First stage of being fat, should take appropriate food and exercise.
